Representatives of the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) participated in the Energy Forum in three important panels organized within the Energy Community Secretariat, where important topics related to the Electricity Integration Package, energy transition, and the coupling of electricity markets were discussed. In these sessions, ERO was represented by Mr. Ymer Fejzullahu, Chairman of the ERO Board, and Mr. Gani Buçaj, Member of the ERO Board.
Mr. Ymer Fejzullahu Chaired the 61st Meeting of the Energy Community Regulatory Board
Yesterday, in Athens, the Chairman of the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO), Mr. Ymer Fejzullahu, chaired the 61st meeting of the Energy Community Regulatory Board. The meeting, held in the Greek capital, brought together the heads of regulatory authorities from the member states, who presented their achievements for the first half of 2025.
Meeting with licensed electricity suppliers - The liberalized market is ready to launch on 1 June 2025
Today, at the invitation of the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO), a joint meeting was held with all licensed electricity suppliers in the Republic of Kosovo. Licensed suppliers from Albania and North Macedonia also participated in the meeting, reflecting the mutual recognition of licenses between countries in the region.
Fifth Session of ERO Board in 2025
On 30.04.2025, the Board of Energy Regulatory Office held the fifth session for 2025. In this session, the ERO Board reviewed and approved the Annual Balance of Electricity for 2025, as well as seven requests from natural person applicants and eleven requests of legal entities for obtaining the authorization for self-consumption, with a total installed capacity of 1131.88 kW.
