The Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) informs all interested parties that it has published the document “Rule on Guarantees of Origin” for public consultation.

The Energy Regulatory Office (ERO), faced with constant pressure and attacks from various actors, has followed a restrained institutional approach by not getting involved in political debates, in order to maintain impartiality. In addition to this, ERO has continuously ensured regular and transparent communication with the media to inform the public and fulfill legal obligations for transparency and accountability. The culmination and continuation of these interventions makes public reaction inevitable.

Eleventh (XIth) Session of ERO Board in 2025

On 18.12.2025, the Board of the Energy Regulatory Office held its eleventh (XI) session for 2025.

In this session, the Board reviewed and approved the Rule on the Renewable Energy Support Mechanism.

The Energy Regulatory Office of Kosovo (ERO), with the support of the project “Energy Transition and Climate Mitigation” of LuxDev, the Luxembourg Agency for Development Cooperation. funded by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg – had undertaken a study visit to Sweden during November 2025 as part of its ongoing efforts to align Kosovo’s system for the issuance of Guarantees of Origin (GoO) with the European Energy Certificate System (EECS).
