In Lisbon, Portugal, the trilateral CEER-ECRB-MEDREG workshop was successfully held, with the participation of the Chairman of the Board of ERO as well as the current President of ECRB, Mr. Ymer Fejzullahu and senior representatives from CEER and MEDREG.
On 09.10.2024, the Director of the Energy Community Secretariat, Mr. Arthur Lorkowski visited ERO and held a meeting with ERO Board.
The discussions during this meeting focused on the latest developments in the sector, including the Methodology for Calculation of Regional Capacities (CCR) and other legislative amendments, the Albanian Power Exchange (ALPEX), investments in renewable energy sources and other issues related to the functioning of the sector in general.
The Energy Regulatoy Office (ERO) is dedicated to the proper information of the public opinion, therefore, in relation to the news that have circulated on various portals about the warning on the increase in the price of electricity, it informs the public opinion that according to the respective legislation, the review of allowed revenues and tariffs for regulated enterprises begins at the end of 2024 and lasts until 31 March 2025, therefore there is no basis for concern about the increase in electricity tariffs.
