Meeting between the ERO Board and the representative of the German Embassy in Kosovo

The Board of the Energy Regulatory Office held a meeting with Mr. Mathias Conrad, Deputy Head of Mission and Head of the Economic Section at the German Embassy in Kosovo.

The discussion was focused on recent developments in the energy sector, related to the progress of the market integration process, the production of electricity from renewable energy sources as well as the importance of the functioning of ERO as an independent agency guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and the Energy Community Acquis. Other issues related to the progress of the sector and the security of energy supply in general were also part of the discussion.

The Chairman of ERO, Mr. Ymer Fejzullahu expressed his deep gratitude for the continuous support that the German state has provided to the energy sector, through various initiatives that have impacted the reformation and modernization of this sector. ERO remains committed to strengthening cooperation with international stakeholders, thus contributing to the development and long-term stability of the energy sector in Kosovo.
