Tenth (Xth) Session of ERO Board in 2024

Today, on 30 September 2024, the Board of Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) held its tenth session for this year.

In this session, the ERO Board reviewed and decided on:

• Issuance of the license to District Heating JSC Gjakova, on cogeneration of energy;
• Issuance of authorizations for self-consumption for 119 applicants, with a total installed capacity of 2.8 MW. It is worth emphasizing that this results in the overall amount of installed capacities from renewable sources of 20.6 MW which proves the efficiency of current schemes for generation of electricity from RES.
• Issuance of the license for TPP Kosova A for a two-year period.

Part of the review from the Board were some internal issues related to the functioning of the Energy Regulatory Office.
