ERO Board holds meeting with AFD representatives and KfW delegation
The Board of the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) held a meeting today with representatives of the French Development Agency (AFD) and the KfW delegation.
During this meeting, the ERO Board informed international partners on the latest developments in the energy sector in Kosovo, with particular emphasis on the advancement of renewable energy sources and regulatory reforms related to this process.
In particular, there were discussions on the progress regarding the drafting and finalization of secondary legislation, including the Energy Curtailemnt Methodology and the Rule on the Support Mechanism, as well as other sub-legal acts that are in the process of preparation or have already been finalized. These developments aim to create a sustainable framework harmonized with European practices for the integration of renewable sources in the energy market.
The Board highly appreciated the continuous support of international partners, who have contributed directly through technical assistance in the drafting and advancement of these regulatory documents.
ERO remains committed to continuing close cooperation with international partners and to further advance the development of the energy sector, in order to ensure a sustainable, transparent and competitive system for the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
