First Session of ERO Board in 2025

On 27.01.2025, the Board of Energy Regulatory Office held the first (I) session for this year. In this session, the Board approved the input values of the Universal Service Supplier for the period 2025-2027.

The Board also approved ALPEX's request for an extension of the tariff period and the approval of several proposals in the ALPEX tariff list. The Board also issued the consent to the Transmission System and Market Operator (KOSTT) for its recommendations regarding metering systems and approved this operator's request for a derogation from the Transmission Network Code.

Regarding the development of renewable energy sources, the Board has approved the request of the legal entity "Anik Energy" LLC for authorization for generation of electricity from solar/photovoltaic panels with around 5.5 MW, and has approved nine (9) requests from natural persons and five (5) others from legal entities, with a capacity of 476 kW, for obtaining authorizations for self-consumption.

Part of review from the Board were also customer complaints and other issues related to the functioning of the Energy Regulatory Office.
