Meeting with representatives of solar photovoltaic (PV) system installers
The Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) today held a meeting with representatives of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems installers, where were discussed the current challenges and proposed solutions to improve the processes related to the generation of energy from renewable sources.
In this meeting, the representatives highlighted several key issues, including delays in the approval of projects, the impact of the new regulation on the crediting of energy surpluses, the problems related to the issuance of electro-energy consents and the unification of procedures for the issuance of municipal consents, as well as other challenges impacting the efficient execution of their responsibilities. ERO expressed its position regarding each point in particular and offered relevant clarifications regarding the current possibilities to address these issues efficiently within its competences.
ERO, in cooperation with other institutions, will continue to work closely to ensure that energy policies are harmonized with the needs of investors and customers, contributing to a more stable and secure energy future for the entire country.
