ERO Board held a meeting with the World Bank Team

The Board of the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) held a meeting today with the World Bank team, in the framework of the ongoing cooperation for the advancement of the energy sector in Kosovo.

During the meeting, discussions focused on technical assistance (TA) related to the Curtailment Methodology and the update of the Market Rules. The parties also reviewed other issues related to the functioning of the energy market, including regulatory aspects and relevant legislation that enables an efficient and transparent operation of the sector.

ERO emphasized the importance of further harmonizing the legal and regulatory framework with international practices, in order to create a sustainable, competitive and renewable energy market oriented towards the integration of renewable energy sources.

ERO highly appreciates the cooperation and continuous support from the World Bank, in the development of a sustainable and reliable energy sector in the country.
